PS Property Advisory is one of Brisbane’s original buyer’s advocates, formerly known as Property Searchers; providing independent property advice and servicing the needs of property buyers and sellers and their independent partners in the finance and legal sectors in South East Queensland since 1999.

Founding Director Scott McGeever and his team of experienced, property professionals have pioneered the services offered in the property advisory sector, virtually writing the book on buyer’s agencies in Queensland, by tailoring property advice specific to the individual.

A message from Scott

I firmly believe that the best results are achieved when you surround yourself with positive, energetic and highly capable people and the team at PS Property Advisory meet these requirements and more.

I have a strong respect for the property sector and throughout my career spanning four decades in the industry, I have made it my personal business to remain current and have welcomed many leadership roles.  Through the vice President and Presidency roles of the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia (REBAA), then following on for several years as the Queensland State Representative. I have played an active role in promoting public awareness about the role of buyers’ agents. I have also lobbied government about tightening consumer protection laws and regulating the industry, something which I continue to be involved in on an ongoing basis at both a state and national level.

My experience as a Certified Practising Valuer has served me well when determining the ‘right’ purchase price a client should pay for a property and this has been passed down to all of my staff through intense valuation based training. We regularly save (or make) tens of thousands of dollars for our clients. Over the years I have utilised my professional skills coupled with my accumulated property knowledge to mitigate risk for and on behalf of all of our valued clients.

Amanda, as the Co-founder and Account Manager of the business, has taken a very active role in developing the Property Searchers’ business based on the sound principles of honesty, integrity and instilling in the team our single minded focus of representing only you the buyer.

Amanda was Property Searchers first full time employee and set the bar high early on with policies and procedures which we have continued to build on. It’s been largely due to Amanda’s commitment that many great results have been achieved for our clients, taking a personal interest in the welfare of each client, both directly and indirectly.

Belinda joined the Property Searchers team in September 2015 and having had a career in property as a Sales Agent in Brisbane as well as working overseas in Hong Kong and in Dubai as a Sales & Marketing Director with a Training organisation, she has had the experience of dealing and negotiating with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds and brings a wealth of knowledge into her role as a Buyer’s Agent.

Belinda believes the most important attribute in being a buyer’s agent is the ability to listen to people’s needs and concerns and understanding their requirements which seems simple but in truth is a skill that can all too often be ignored in the real estate industry.
